On Friday, in the morning, at the Parliamentary Annexe, Brisbane, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey attended the Queensland Overseas Foundation (QOF) Scholarship Award Ceremony, where the Governor presented certificates to scholarship and bursary recipients, addressed guests, and presented a QOF Life Membership Award.

In the afternoon, at Government House, the Governor received the Deputy Clerk of the Parliament, Mr Michael Ries, for the presentation of three Bills for Assent.

Following, at the Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron Clubhouse, Manly, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey attended the rededication of the RQYS Opening Stone, and the Governor addressed guests.
