On Wednesday, in the morning, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey departed Brisbane for official travel to Cloncurry.
In the afternoon, at Cloncurry Airport, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey inspected the Royal Flying Doctor Service 90th Year Antique Air Pilgrimage aircraft, and met pilots.
Following, at Cloncurry Shire Council Chambers, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey received a briefing on local issues from the Mayor and Councillors.
Following, at the Queensland Country Women’s Association’s (QCWA) Charlotte Scott House, Cloncurry, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey attended a community afternoon tea hosted by Cloncurry Shire Council and the Cloncurry Branch of the QCWA.
In the evening, at John Flynn Place Museum, Cloncurry, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey undertook a tour of the museum.
Following, at the Cloncurry Shire Hall, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey attended an official dinner to celebrate the 90th birthday of the Royal Flying Doctor Service, and the Governor addressed guests.
