On Wednesday, in the morning, at Government House, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD hosted a Community Bush Walk in support of Diabetes awareness, and the Governor addressed the guests. 

Following, at the Gold Coast Regional Botanic Gardens, Benowa, Her Excellency officially opened the Queen’s Jubilee Woodland Walk, and the Governor planted a tree and addressed guests.    

In the evening, at Government House, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo hosted a Dinner in honour of the Australian Health Protection Principal Committee (AHPPC), and the Governor addressed guests.
