On Monday, in the morning, at Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey hosted a morning tea for the Sisters of Mercy, and the Governor addressed guests.

In the afternoon, at Holy Trinity Church, Fortitude Valley, His Excellency attended the Funeral service of the late the Very Reverend Arthur John Grimshaw.
