On Thursday, in the afternoon, at Parliament House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC CVO presided at a meeting of the Executive Council.

Following, at Government House, His Excellency hosted Investiture Ceremonies for the following recipients of Australian Honours and Awards announced in the 2021 Queen’s Birthday Honours List: Mr Beny Aterdit Bol OAM; Professor Narelle Lorraine Haworth AM; Captain Phillipa Hay CSC and Bar RAN; Warrant Officer Class Two Leigh Gary Hedger CSM; Mr Matthew Thomas Hickey OAM; Mrs Rita Hillier OAM; Mr John Clelland Hocknull OAM; Mr James Huggett PSM; Colonel James Guthrie Hunter CSC; and Mr Brenley McMillan Milsom OAM.

Following, at Government House, His Excellency and Mrs Kaye de Jersey hosted an afternoon reception in support of the Queensland Ballet, and the Governor addressed guests.
