On Wednesday, in the morning, at Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC received High Commissioner of the Republic of Fiji to Australia, His Excellency Mr Luke Daunivalu, accompanied by Consul-General of Fiji and Trade Commissioner, Mr Zarak Khan, and First Secretary, High Commission of Fiji, Mr Kartik Pratap.

Following, at Government House, His Excellency greeted guests from Jubilee Community Care visiting for morning tea and a guided tour of the House.

In the evening, at Government House, Mrs Kaye de Jersey and His Excellency hosted a reception for the presentation of the Girl Guides Queensland Annual Awards, and Mrs de Jersey presented awards and addressed guests.
