On Thursday, in the morning, at the Queen Elizabeth II Courts of Law, Brisbane, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC attended the Valedictory Ceremony for the Honourable Justice John Byrne AO RFD.

Following, at 1 William Street, Brisbane, the Governor presided at a meeting of the Executive Council of Queensland.

In the afternoon, the Governor and Mrs Kaye de Jersey departed Brisbane for Regional Government House operations in Mackay.

Following, at the Mackay City Central Scout Group Den, Mackay, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey visited Mackay City Central Scout Group where His Excellency addressed guests and presented awards.
