On Thursday, in the morning, at 1 William Street, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young PSM presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.

In the afternoon, at Government House, Her Excellency and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD received Consul-General of Japan in Queensland, Mr Ono Masuo and Mrs Ono Kimu, and Deputy Consul-General, Mrs Masuda Chieko.

In the evening, at the Playhouse Theatre, Queensland Performing Arts Complex, South Brisbane, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo attended the opening night of Queensland Theatre’s performance of “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf”.
