On Monday, in the morning, at Napranum Aboriginal Shire Council Chambers, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD received a briefing from the Mayor and Councillors and met with staff.

Following, at the Mary Ann Coconut Library, Napranum, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo visited the library and gifted a copy of ‘A Place for All Queenslanders’ to the collection.

Following, at Kluthuthu Christian College, Napranum, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo visited the school, and addressed students and teachers, toured the College and read a book.

Following, at Napranum Community Hall, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo attended a community lunch, and the Governor addressed the guests.

In the afternoon, at Malakoola/Napranum Primary Health Care Centre, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo received a briefing on operations, toured the facility and met with staff.

Following, at Napranum War Memorial, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo visited the War Memorial, and laid a floral tribute.

In the evening, at the Albatross Bay Resort Restaurant, Weipa, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo attended a working dinner with representatives of Local Government Association of Queensland, Weipa Town Authority, Napranum Aboriginal Shire Council, Hope Vale Aboriginal Shire Council and Aurukun Aboriginal Shire Council.
