On Saturday, in the morning, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey departed Brisbane for an official visit to Lowood.

Following, at the Lowood Show Grounds, the Governor, with Mrs de Jersey, officially opened the 110th Lowood Show where His Excellency addressed guests, before returning to Brisbane.
