On Thursday, in the morning, at Government House, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young PSM signed a Message for a Bill.   

Following, at Government House, Her Excellency received Consul-General of the People’s Republic of China, Dr Xu Jie and Vice Consul of the People’s Republic of China, Mr Qiao Peigen. 

Following, at Government House, Her Excellency greeted members of the public visiting for a guided tour of the House and Gardens. 

In the afternoon, at Parliament House, Her Excellency joined the official party and students in welcoming The Queen’s Baton to Queensland, as it makes its way to Birmingham for the 2022 Commonwealth Games. 

Following, at Parliament House, Her Excellency presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.
