On Monday, in the morning, at Customs House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC, attended a breakfast in honour of Prime Minister of the Republic of India, Mr Narendra Modi, hosted by the Premier of Queensland, the Honourable Campbell Newman MP.
Following, at The University of Queensland (UQ), St Lucia Campus, the Governor delivered the opening address of the Inaugural Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and UQ, Asia-Pacific Forum.

In the evening, at Government House, the Governor and Mrs Kaye de Jersey hosted a formal dinner.
