On Thursday, in the morning, at Government House, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM greeted members of the Wynnum 60 and Better Program visiting for a guided tour of the House and Gardens.

 

In the afternoon, at Government House, via teleconference, Her Excellency presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.

 

Following, at Victoria Barracks, Her Excellency awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia (Military Division) to Major Gary Edwards OAM, and the Governor officiated and addressed guests.

 

Following, at Government House, Her Excellency and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD hosted an afternoon tea for the Churchill Fellows’ 2022 Presentation Ceremony. The Governor presented awards and addressed guests.
