On Saturday, in the morning, at Cairns International Airport, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey toured and were briefed on operations.

Following, at Smithfield Mountain Bike Trails, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey met with Australian and International riders of the 2015 Crocodile Trophy mountain bike race, addressed participants, organisers and supporters before officially starting the race.

In the afternoon, at Skyrail Rainforest Cableway, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey experienced Australia’s World Heritage Listed tropical rainforest canopy on board a Skyrail gondola.
