In the afternoon, at Government House, His Excellency and Mrs Kaye de Jersey hosted Investiture Ceremonies for the following recipients of Australian Honours and Awards announced in the March 2020 Bravery Announcement, the 2020 Australia Day Honours List and the 2020 Queen’s Birthday Honours List: Ms Rebecca Frizelle OAM; Mr Darren Fyfe BM; Brigadier Shane Gabriel DSC AM(Mil); Senior Constable Jeremy Gardiol; Mr Leo Geraghty OAM; Mr Ian Gillespie AM; Mr Alan Girdler; Mr Donald Griffin OAM; Squadron Leader Sean Hamilton CSC; Senior Sergeant Troy Hamilton BM, Mr Michael Springfield; and Mr Ralph Hartland OAM.
