In the afternoon, at Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC received the Auditor-General of Queensland, Mr Andrew Greaves.

Following, the Governor received the Chairman, Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games Corporation, Mr Nigel Chamier OAM and CEO, Mr Mark Peters.

In the evening, at the Hilton Hotel, Brisbane, the Governor and Mrs Kaye de Jersey attended the Australian Institute of Company Directors 31st Gold Medal Award Dinner.
