In the afternoon, at Anzac Square, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey attended the 2015 Vietnam Veterans Day Remembrance Service, where the Governor laid a wreath.

In the evening, in the de Jersey Room at the offices of the Bar Association of Queensland, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey, as guests of the President and Council of the Association, attended a function at which the Governor unveiled a portrait of himself, painted by Mr Robert Hannaford AM and commissioned by the Association. The Governor is a Life Member of the Association.
