On Friday, in the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM departed Government House for Official travel to Rockhampton City Council.

Following, at the Empire Hotel, Rockhampton, Her Excellency hosted a Private Investiture Ceremony for Mr Alan Parr OAM, and the Governor addressed guests.

Following, at ANZAC Square, Brisbane City, Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD attended the 50th Anniversary of Vietnam Veterans Day Remembrance Service and laid the first wreath.

In the afternoon, at Rockhampton Botanic Gardens, Her Excellency laid a wreath at the Rockhampton War Memorial on the occasion of Vietnam Veteran’s Day.

Following, at Hummingbird Café, Rockhampton, Her Excellency hosted a working lunch with the Rockhampton City Councillors.

Following, at Rockhampton Museum of Art, Her Excellency received a briefing, toured the exhibitions and met with staff.

Following, Her Excellency returned to Government House from Official travel to Rockhampton City Council.
