On Monday, in the morning, at Rainworth, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC attended the Rainworth State School Leadership Induction Ceremony, and the Governor presented leadership badges, and addressed students and guests.

In the afternoon, at Government House, His Excellency received telephone updates from Mayors on the latest flood recovery operations in communities in far north, north west and central western Queensland.
