On Thursday, in the morning, at Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC greeted members of Kiityhawk Day Club, visiting for morning tea and a guided tour of the House and gardens.

Following, at 1 William Street, His Excellency presided at a meeting of the Executive Council.

In the afternoon, at Spring Hill, His Excellency officially opened the Royal Geographical Society of Queensland's new premises, and addressed guests and unveiled a plaque.
