On Thursday, in the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD departed Government House for Official Travel to Sydney and the Honourable Justice John Bond commenced duty as Acting Governor of Queensland.   

Following, at 1 William Street, Brisbane City, the Acting Governor of Queensland, the Honourable Justice John Bond, presided at a meeting of the Executive Council.  

In the afternoon, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo departed Sydney for Official Travel to the United Kingdom.
