In the morning, at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC attended the 2015 Australasian Society of Association Executives (AuSAE) Conference and Exhibition, where the Governor addressed delegates.

Following, at Government House, the Governor greeted members of the Probus Club of Stafford visiting Government House for morning tea and a guided tour of the House and Gardens.

Then at the Executive Building, George Street, the Governor presided at a special meeting of the Executive Council.

In the evening, at Government House, the Governor and Mrs Kaye de Jersey hosted a dinner in recognition of outstanding Queensland contributors. Guests included: Major General the Honourable Peter Arnison AC, CVO (retd) and Mrs Barbara Arnison; The Honourable Justice John Bond and Ms Rowena McNally; Dr Mark Loane AM and Mrs Elizabeth Loane; Professor Perry Bartlett and Mrs Jane Bartlett; Mr Brett Clark and Mrs Maria Clark; Associate Professor Noel Hayman and Dr Gemma Hayman; Mr Dan O’Connor; Mr Chris Saines CNZM; Ms Cecily Pearson and Dr Emily Farrell; and Lieutenant Gail Rogers RANR.
