On Saturday, in the morning, at the Queensland Country Women’s Association (QCWA) Cooktown Hall, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD visited the QCWA Café as part of the Cooktown Discovery Festival.

Following, in Cooktown, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo toured Cooktown on foot visiting Grassy Hill Lookout, William Daku Park and the  Cooktown Markets as part of the Cooktown Discovery Festival.

In the afternoon, at the Sovereign Hotel, Cooktown, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo viewed the Cooktown Discovery Festival Street Parade.

Following, at Cooktown Shire Hall, Her Excellency attended the Cooktown Discovery Festival Queensland Ballet Workshop.

Following, at William Daku Park, Cooktown, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo attended the Cooktown Discovery Festival Sunset Soiree.

In the evening, at The River of Gold Motel, Cooktown, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo attended a Council briefing and working dinner with Cook Shire Councillors and the Governor addressed the guests.
