On Saturday, in the morning, at The Ville, Townsville, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey hosted a Morning Tea in support of those who assisted the community during and after the 2019 Townsville Flood, and the Governor addressed guests.

In the afternoon, His Excellency and Mrs de Jersey returned to Government House following official travel to Townsville.

In the afternoon, at the Brookfield Showground, Brookfield, His Excellency attended the 2019 Brookfield Show.
