In the afternoon, at Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC was invested as a Knight of Grace of the Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem.

In the evening, at Government House, the Governor and Mrs Kaye de Jersey hosted a formal dinner. Guests included: the Honourable Ian Walker MP and Mrs Heather Walker; Professor Susan Street AO and Mr Tom Beesley; Professor Peter Little AM; Mr Chris Freeman AM and Mrs Susan Freeman; Mr Brett Clark and Mrs Maria Clark; Mr David Conry and Mrs Natalie Conry; Professor Emeritus Richard Fotheringham and The Honourable Justice Roslyn Atkinson; Mr Robert Hubbard and Ms Leanne Muller; Mr Greg Wanchap and Mrs Jan Wanchap; and Ms Cecily Pearson and Mr Trevor Farrell OAM.
