On Tuesday, in the morning, at Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC received the Honourable Annastacia Palaszczuk MP, Premier of Queensland, for a regular meeting.

 Following, at All Saints Church, Brisbane, the Governor and Mrs Kaye de Jersey attended the Mothers’ Union (MU) Thanksgiving Eucharist, followed by a High Tea at the Mercure Hotel, Brisbane, where Mrs de Jersey addressed guests, to celebrate 110 years of service for MU Australia, Brisbane Diocese.

 In the evening, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey hosted a reception for the presentation of the 2016 Roly Sussex Short Story Awards and to support the launch of the English Speaking Union Short Story publication, where His Excellency addressed guests.
