On Thursday, in the afternoon, at Parliament House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC presided at a meeting of the Executive Council.

Following, at Parliament House, His Excellency greeted students from Mt Maria College visiting for a guided tour of the Parliament.

Following, at the State Library of Queensland, South Bank, His Excellency and the Mayor of Palm Island, Councillor Alfred Lacey, toured the Palm Island and Our People exhibition.

In the evening, at Government House, His Excellency and Mrs Kaye de Jersey hosted a dinner in support of regional Queensland.
