On Friday, in the afternoon, at Government House, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM hosted a Luncheon in support of the Office of the Governor Speechwriters, and the Governor addressed guests. 

In the evening, at Suncorp Stadium, Milton, Her Excellency attended the Queensland Reds versus New Zealand Highlanders Rugby Union Match.
