On Friday, in the morning, at Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey hosted a morning tea for the official opening of the Bick and Bailey Corridor, and the Governor addressed guests and unveiled a plaque.

In the afternoon, at Brisbane City Hall, His Excellency attended The Duke of Edinburgh's International Gold Awards Presentation Ceremony, and the Governor addressed guests and presented awards.

In the evening, at the Queensland Club, Brisbane City, His Excellency and Mrs de Jersey attended the 2019 Queensland Club Governor's Dinner, and the Governor addressed guests.
