On Sunday, in the morning, Charlotte Street, Cooktown, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD attended a Combined Open Air Church Service as part of the Cooktown Discovery Festival.

Following, at Bicentennial Park, Cooktown Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo viewed the Captain Cook’s Landing Re-enactment as part of the Cooktown Discovery Festival Street Parade.

Following, at Walmbaal Birri Heritage and Culture Centre, Cooktown, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo toured the centre and met with the cast and crew of the Captain Cook’s Landing Re-Enactment.

Following, at the Cooktown Museum, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo participated in a guided tour.

In the late afternoon, at Nature's Powerhouse, Cooktown Botanic Gardens, Her Excellency addressed guests and presented awards at the Hats and High Tea event as part of the Cooktown Discovery Festival.
