On Friday, in the morning, at Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC, was interviewed, via telephone, by ABC Western Queensland Breakfast presenter, Mr Dan Prosser.

Following, His Excellency and Mrs Kaye de Jersey departed Government House for official travel to Windorah and Longreach.

In the afternoon, at the Windorah Community Centre, Windorah, His Excellency and Mrs de Jersey received a briefing from Barcoo Shire Council representatives.

Following, at the Windorah Community Centre, Windorah, His Excellency and Mrs de Jersey hosted an afternoon tea in support of the Windorah Community, and the Governor addressed guests.

In the evening, at the Qantas Founders’ Museum, Longreach, His Excellency and Mrs de Jersey attended the official opening of the new airpark roof and luminescent, and the Governor addressed guests, and turned on the luminescent sound and light show.
