On Wednesday, in the morning, at Government House, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM hosted a morning tea in support of the General Sir John Monash Foundation to celebrate the 2025 John Monash Scholars, and the Governor addressed guests.

Following, in the afternoon, Her Excellency departed Government House for Official Travel to Ipswich City Council.

At the Ipswich Community Recovery Hub, Her Excellency received a briefing from the Mayor Cr Teresa Harding and met with Council representatives, flood recovery workers, and residents impacted by Tropic Cyclone Alfred.
