On Thursday, in the morning, at the Pineapple Building, Port Moresby, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey were received by the Honourable Peter O’Neill MP, Prime Minister of Papua New Guinea.

In the afternoon, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey returned to Brisbane from on official visit to Papua New Guinea, and the Honourable Chief Justice Catherine Holmes ceased duty as Acting Governor.

Earlier, in the morning, at the Executive Building, the Acting Governor presided at a meeting of the Executive Council.
