Government House Queensland
On Thursday, in the morning, at the Executive Building, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC presided at a meeting of the Executive Council.
In the afternoon, at Government House, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey received the Consul-General of Japan in Queensland, Mr Hidehiro Hosaka, and Mrs Kumiko Hosaka.
In the evening, at Government House, His Excellency and Mrs Kaye de Jersey hosted a dinner in recognition of outstanding Queensland contributors. Guests included: The Honourable Peter Wellington MP; The Honourable Justice Susan Kiefel AC and Mr Michael Albrecht; Dr Denver Beanland; Mr Dave Stewart and Ms Pauline Bourke; Dr Cathryn Mittelheuser AM; Mr John Gallagher QC and Mrs Susan Gallagher; Mr Ian Klug and Mrs Jocelyn Klug; Mr Ken MacDonald and Ms Marion Gibney; Mr Ross Perrett and Mrs Jennifer Perrett; and Air Commodore Mark Gower OAM and Mrs Julie Gower.
