On Saturday, in the morning, at Ormiston, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC attended and officially opened the new Cleveland Scout Hall, and the Governor presented a Queen’s Scout Award, unveiled a plaque and addressed guests. 

In the evening, at Royal on the Park, Brisbane City, Mrs Kaye de Jersey and His Excellency attended the Girl Guides Australia, Queensland Centenary Dinner ‘100 Years Strong’, and Mrs de Jersey addressed guests.
