On Friday, in the morning, at Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC, received Queensland Police Service Commissioner Ian Stewart APM, Deputy Commissioner Ross Barnett APM and Superintendent Peter Fleming.
In the afternoon, at the Red Chamber, Parliament House, the Governor and Mrs Kaye de Jersey, attended the 2014 Secondary School Citizenship Awards hosted by the Order of Australia Association, Queensland Branch.

In the evening, at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, South Brisbane, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey attended the 2014 Queensland Training Awards State Final Presentation Dinner.
