On Tuesday, in the afternoon, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs de Jersey hosted a luncheon in honour of Mr Jeff Horn, WBO Welterweight Champion. Guests included: Mr Jeff Horn and Mrs Jo Horn; the Right Honourable the Lord Mayor of Brisbane, Councillor Graham Quirk; Ms Liza Dykstra & Mr Ward Kenny; Mr Jeff Horn Snr; Mr Glenn Rushton & Mrs Lillian Rushton; Ms Cecily Pearson OAM & Mr Chris Piggott-McKellar.

In the afternoon, at Government House, the Governor received Mr Brendan Worrall, Queensland Auditor-General.

In the evening, at La Boite Theatre, Brisbane, the Governor attended the performance on ‘Laser Beak Man’ as part of the Brisbane Festival.
