On Monday, from 9am until 4pm, at Government House, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD greeted members of the public as they signed messages of condolence and laid floral tributes. State Leaders and dignitaries continued to call at Government House to sign messages of condolence on the passing of Queen Elizabeth II.

In the morning, at Baden-Powell Park, Samford, Her Excellency attended the Scouts Queensland Agoonoree Camp, and addressed guests.

In the afternoon, at Government House, Her Excellency hosted an Investiture Ceremony for the following recipients of Australian Bravery Decorations announced in March 2022: Senior Constable Ryan Badger, Mr Mathew Reeves and Mr Finley Taylor.
