In the morning, at St James’ Cathedral, Townsville, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC, the Administrator of the Government of the Commonwealth of Australia and Mrs Kaye de Jersey attended Eucharist, where His Excellency the Administrator delivered a reading.

In the afternoon, His Excellency the Administrator and Mrs de Jersey departed Townsville to return to Brisbane.
