On Thursday, in the morning, at Government House, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD received British Consul General Queensland & Northern Territory, Mr Richard Cowin and outgoing British Consul General for Queensland & the Northern Territory Ms Joanne Freeman.

In the afternoon, at Government House, Her Excellency presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.

In the evening, at The Grove Rooftop, Brisbane, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo attended the British Consulate Brisbane, British Consulate General farewell and welcome reception.
