On Sunday, in the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM departed Brisbane for Official Travel to South Burnett Regional Council.
Following, at the South Burnett Regional Council Chamber Forecourt, Wondai, Her Excellency attended the 175th Wondai Reserve Forces Day wreath laying and flag raising ceremony and the Governor laid the first wreath.
Following, at the Wondai Post Office, Her Excellency attended a morning tea for 175th Wondai Reserve Forces Day, by the Queensland Country Women’s Association, Wondai branch.
Following, at MacKenzie Street, Wondai, Her Excellency attended the 175th Wondai Reserve Forces Day parade.
Following, at Queensland Maritime Museum, South Brisbane, Honorary Aide-de-Camp Captain Peter Hollyock represented Her Excellency and attended the 75th Commemoration Service of Operation Rimau & Commando Day, and he laid a wreath.
Following, at Percy Iszlaub Pavilion, Wondai, Her Excellency attended 175th Wondai Reserve Forces Day, Recognition Service, and the Governor addressed guests.
Following, at Government House, members of the public visited for a Picnic Day.
In the afternoon, at Clovely Estate Vineyard, Moffatdale, Her Excellency received a briefing on operations, toured the facility and met with staff.
