On Wednesday, at Government House, in the afternoon, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey hosted lunch for religious representatives. Guests included: His Grace The Most Reverend Dr Phillip Aspinall; Reverend Monsignor Peter Meneely; Reverend David Baker; Reverend Father Dimitri Tsakas; and Dr Janet Khan.
Following, His Excellency commenced duty as Administrator of the Government of the Commonwealth of Australia and the Honourable Chief Justice Catherine Holmes commenced duty as Acting Governor.
