In the morning, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey ACand Mrs Kaye de Jersey departed Toowoomba and returned to Brisbane.

Also in morning, in Brisbane, at the South Eastern District RSL, Flight Lieutenant Rob Moran, representing the Governor, attended the Victory in Europe 70th Anniversary Commemorative Service, where Flight Lieutenant Moran laid the first wreath.
