On Wednesday, in the morning, at Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC welcomed visitors from the Paddington Day Respite Centre for a guided tour and morning tea.

In the evening, at Government House, His Excellency and Mrs Kaye de Jersey hosted a dinner in support of outstanding Queensland contributors. Guests included the Honourable Justice David Boddice; Ms Keiko Yanai; Mr Daisuke Miyake; Dr Beth Woods OAM and Mr Michael Grundy; Dr Andrew Brice AM and Mrs Jennifer Brice; Dr Bruce Cook OAM and Mrs Noelle Cook; Mr John Abbott and Mrs Ann-Maree Abbott; Mr Roger Burrell and Mrs Fiona Burrell; Dr Glenn Gardener and Mrs Lisa Gardener; Reverend Noel Noack and Dr Meg Noack; Air Commodore Mark Gower OAM and Mrs Julie Gower; and Senior Sergeant Donna Stewart.
