On Thursday, in the morning, at Government House, via teleconference, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM presided over a special meeting of the Executive Council. 

Following, at Government House, Her Excellency signed a Message for a Bill.    

Following, at Government House, Her Excellency hosted a ceremony to present the King Charles III Coronation Medal to three recipients: Mr Keith Payne VC AM; Mr Daniel Keighran VC; Mr Victor Boscoe CV, and the Governor addressed guests.  

In the afternoon, at 1 William Street, Brisbane City, Her Excellency and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD received a briefing from the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. 

Following, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo hosted a reception in support of the Queensland Commandery of the Military and Hospitaller Order of St Lazarus of Jerusalem for the occasion of the meeting of the Australian National Chapter of the Order, and the Governor addressed guests.
