In the morning, in New Delhi, India, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey departed India for official travel to Belgium.

In the evening, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey arrived in Brussels, Belgium, greeted by Australian Ambassador to Belgium, Luxembourg, the European Union and NATO, Dr Mark Higgie and Agent General and Queensland Trade and Investment Commissioner, United Kingdom and Europe, Mr Ken Smith.

Also in the morning, in Brisbane, at the Executive Building, George Street, the Acting Governor, Chief Justice of Queensland, the Honourable Timothy Carmody presided at a meeting of the Executive Council.
