On Friday, in the morning, at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC attended and officially opened the CREATE Foundation conference, “Youth for Change: creating a better future”.

In the afternoon, at Government House, the Governor hosted a luncheon for the Royal Queensland Regiment. Guests included: Major General Stephen Porter AM; Brigadier William Date; Lieutenant Colonel Douglas Ensor; Lieutenant Colonel Luke Hughes; Lieutenant Colonel Michael Thomas; Warrant Officer Class One Andrew Roberts; and Ms Cecily Pearson.
