On Saturday, in the morning, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey departed Cairns for an official visit to Wondai.

In the afternoon, at the Wondai Showgrounds, the Governor, with Mrs de Jersey, officially opened the 100th Wondai Show and addressed guests, and then returned to Brisbane.
