On Wednesday, in the morning, at the Battle for Australia Memorial, Chermside, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC attended the Battle for Australia Commemoration Service, and laid the first wreath.

In the afternoon, at Government House, His Excellency and Mrs Kaye de Jersey hosted an afternoon tea in support of the Care Army Queensland, and the Governor addressed guests.
