On Tuesday, in the morning, at Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC received the Right Honourable, the Lord Mayor of Brisbane, Councillor Adrian Schrinner to sign a message of condolence to the Royal Family following the death of His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.

Following, at Government House, His Excellency received Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany, His Excellency Dr Thomas Fitschen and Dr Ilona Stölken-Fitschen; and Honorary Consul of the Federal Republic of Germany in Queensland, Professor Michael Rosemann.

In the afternoon, at Government House, His Excellency and Mrs Kaye de Jersey hosted an afternoon reception in support of the Royal Historical Society of Queensland as Trustee of the Dig Tree Reserve, and the Governor addressed guests.
